Welcome to Masa & Thread

Masa & Thread started with two things that have always been part of my life: food and culture.

I cook for a living, but food has never just been a job to me. Food carries memories. It's family, kitchen, ingredients, tools, traditions, jokes, smells and the things you don't realize you'll miss until you're older.

That's where Masa & Thread lives. Entre la masa y la ropa.

Some designs come from nostalgia. Some from the kitchen. Some come from culture. And some are simply things that make me laugh and think, yea, I'd wear that.

You'll find everything from molcajetes, pupusas, and barro cookware to designs with a little more attitude.

Masa & Thread isn't meant to be one thing. 

It's food, heritage, humor, memory and personality- things we carry with us, now made into things we can wear.
